Language Views

If you're searching for a particular translation then sometimes it's useful to change the view.  There are 2 views to choose from: the target language view and the native language view.  Both are available under the View menu.  The target language view is the default and recommended view.  When selected, both the theme list and the lexical item list will display text in the target language.  This is preferable since you typically want to work with the language you're trying to learn.  However, in some cases you may not remember the lexical item that you're searching for.  If you're pretty sure it exists in your lexicon then changing to the native language view will help you find it.  This causes the two lists to display the native language translations.  You may notice that the number of themes is the same in either view, but the number of rows in the lexical item list usually increases in the native language view.  This is because some lexical items may have multiple translations.  In the native language view, all minor translations are extracted from the full translation of each lexical item and shown in the lexical item list.
